Dressed up with their traditional costumes and excitement can be seen in their faces, these pilgrims, mostly are elders from different dioceses of Myanmar are waiting near the church of Santa Maria for the coming of Pope Francis. Some of them come from St. Edward’s Parish of the Archdiocese of Yangon. They said they are very happy to welcome the Pope. They themselves help in maintaining peace and guarding the road with some volunteers also.
