“We Love You” – Words that were expressed by pilgrims who can’t contain their emotions and excitement as they attended the four-day Apostolic Visit of Pope Francis in Myanmar.
Pope Francis has arrived in Yangon, Myanmar for a visit to encourage all the tiny Catholic communities in Myanmar and in Bangladesh. The Holy Father was greeted and welcomed by local Catholic officials at the Yangon International Airport in Myanmar Monday afternoon.
Cardinal Bo said that compared to the country’s ruling party in the past which exclusively made up of Burmese Buddhists, now, the party includes other ethnic groups and not only the Buddhists but also the Christians and other religions and for the Cardinal that is one big progress.
